Derek Ellis, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, brings an important behavioral and mental-health perspective to the Nyan Cares Corp team.
Mental and physical health are closely connected. Derek helps address the behavioral and psychological factors that can influence a person's ability to manage medications, chronic conditions, lifestyle changes, and overall wellness.
Working alongside the pharmacy and wellness team, Derek helps ensure that patients are viewed as whole people—not simply as diagnoses or prescriptions.
His goal: Support the person behind the health condition and help patients move toward greater overall well-being.
